About
Hey there, we see a lot of boring non-human content these days, and I wanted to personally say that there's an actual human behind this project. There's a lot of AI slopware out there, the same boring vibe-coded subscription get-rich schemes of the same tired applications that are plugging up the internet. This project is not one of those, proudly open source and free to use. Hotline Navigator is a tribute the yester-year of computing, back when the internet was experimental, underground, fractured and decentralized. Both MorbiusAdmin and Hotline Navigator are designed to both preserve and make Hotline accessible to new audiences with modern features and back-compatible support.
First off, thanks to Dustin Mierau for creating a new Hotline client for macOS, and for his work on the Hotline protocol. His work was a huge inspiration for this project, and I'm grateful for his contributions to the Hotline community. Second, I'd like to extend my thanks to Jake Halterman for creating Mobius, a modern, cross-platform Hotline server that works with all Hotline clients. Without it, there would not be a MorbiusAdmin macOS GUI for running a Mobius Hotline server.
If you're interested in connecting with the Hotline community, I recommend joing the Hotline Wiki Discord server and checking out the Hotline Wiki. I'm always interested in feedback and suggestions, so feel free to reach out to me.
